Room Assignments

New Students: Room assignments are made in the order Housing Applications were submitted. New students can sign up for Housing using the New Student Checklist. All new students will be placed in Elsey, Hoover, or Cline Hall.

Initial notification of a student’s room assignment, roommate assignment, and contact information for the assigned roommate are emailed in July. Roommate assignments are made using information and interests students share in their Housing Application. If a student wishes to request a roommate, those requests will be honored if both individuals mutually request one another.

Continuing Students: Room selection for continuing students occurs during each spring semester for the following academic year. All students must be registered full-time for the upcoming fall semester and in good financial standing with the college. Priority for room selection is determined by class standing and lottery number.
