Here are things we like to do together.

  1. Stop in Old Main and Rub Ben’s Nose for good luck on your way to an exam.
  2. Join the Tower Tradition during Welcome Week to receive a pin of the Old Main tower.
  3. Relax and enjoy fun activities with your new friends at the Welcome Bash after orientation weekend.
  4. Accept a bid from one of our five fraternities or three sororities.
  5. Gain a little extra spending money by becoming a student employee.
  6. Get a photo sitting with the Ben Franklin statue on campus.
  7. Attend a concert or see a movie at the DriveHubler.com Amphitheater.
  8. Receive cheers and well wishes from Franklin College professors and staff as you walk to the Bell Ceremony during orientation weekend.
  9. Grab a group of friends and play campus golf. It’s with a tennis ball!
  10. Join one of the 40+ student organizations at Franklin College.
  11. Enjoy tailgating and athletic events alongside FC alumni during Homecoming weekend!
  12. Celebrate the Grizzly football team at the pep rally with a performance from the FC Dancers and the FC cheerleaders.
  13. Show school spirit at the Homecoming Privy Burn after the pep rally celebration.
  14. Ring the victory bell after winning the annual Victory Bell football game.
  15. Find a group of friends and attend one of the many events put on by the Student Entertainment Board.
  16. Enrich your mind by listening to a visiting speaker as part of the annual Convocation Lecture Series.
  17. Attend the Franklin Fall Festival downtown with tons of food and entertainment.
  18. Learn about community building by attending an event hosted by the Center for Diversity and Inclusion.
  19. Have a study session with friends that accidentally turns into an all-nighter!
  20. Support Franklin College’s theatre program by acting in or enjoying a play put on by students.
  21. Get in the holiday spirit by supporting your friends at the holiday choral concert and instrumental concert.
  22. Challenge your friends to a game of pickleball at one of the parks in town.
  23. Cheer on your peers at one of our many home athletic events.
  24. Take a break from studying and get some fresh air with a walk on the Grizzly Park Trail.
  25. Take your education out of the classroom and to another country by studying abroad.

  29. Enjoy a night out on the town with a monthly FC on the Town event, sponsored by the Center for Student Involvement.
  30. Study your hardest for the semester and make the dean’s list.
  31. Visit the local shops in Historic Downtown Franklin, a short walk from campus.
  32. Visit the Historic Artcraft Theatre for old-time movies.
  33. Grab a coffee and giant cookie before class at the Grizzly Café in the student center.
  34. Take a break from studying with a workout in the Spurlock Center.
  35. Expand your thoughts on religion and your faith by attending a weekly Chapel service.
  36. Attend world-class theatre productions during a fall trip to the Stratford Festival in Ontario, Canada.
  37. Try something different for lunch and visit Benjamin’s Coffeehouse, 1823 Bakehouse, Main & Madison or Ann’s Restaurant.
  38. Find inspiration in fellow students’ work at the semester-end Art Show in Johnson Center for Fine Arts.
