Franklin Forward is an ambitious, comprehensive five-year plan reflecting a unifying vision and detailing strategies for Franklin College to achieve growth of the student body, growth of resources, and growth of the institutional endowment.

Franklin College’s strategic plan is grounded in four pillars and strengthened by four throughlines.

Franklin Forward started with a charge to inspire investment in the institution. Focusing on the strategies and activities that will spur increased investment and encourage growth — in number of students, in resources, and in endowment — is key to institutions like Franklin College. Also critical is the realization that this work cannot be achieved by those on campus alone.

The abundance of feedback gathered throughout the plan clearly points to four common themes that shape this plan as pillars, all supporting investment, recruitment, and retention:

• How we care matters.
• Who we invite to join us matters.

Franklin College’s next strategic plan highlights four additional areas of emphasis that either serve as points of distinction or merit additional attention. These “throughlines” intersect each plan pillar and provide additional connectivity among the plan’s greatest priorities. They are:
