Student Success Resources

Here for you when you need us most

At Franklin College, we go out of our way to provide support and lift one another toward higher goals. We realize that stretching out of comfort zones and pursuing excellence can be challenging and that sometimes life can be hard.

Our goal is for every student to graduate from Franklin College fully prepared for the journey ahead. Our student success team collaborates with faculty, staff, students and their families to create a supportive culture where we succeed together.

FC Cares

College isn’t always easy, and you may not know where to turn to get help. We created FC Cares with your needs in mind. No concern is too big, no question too small. Our student success team is standing by to help, whether you just need someone to listen, or if additional assistance may be necessary.

Common reasons to reach out might include:

  • Homesickness
  • Family Emergencies
  • Feeling Lost/Questioning
  • Academic Performance
  • Relationship Issues
  • Illness/Medical Concerns
  • Financial Challenges
  • Behavioral Concerns
  • Athletic Concerns
  • General Questions

Student Referrals

Anyone can make a referral to the team anytime a student may be struggling with success and persistence at Franklin College. Students may reach out or refer themselves, too. When a student is referred to the student success team, we formulate a plan to guide that student to programs and services that support academic success, social integration, personal well-being, financial resources and other appropriate services as needed.

Our Partnership with parents and families

Thank you for trusting to guide your student through their college education. We know you had many choices and we take our commitment to you and your student seriously. We are here to help by answering any questions you may have. We also encourage you to get involved in our vibrant community. Come to an athletic event, take in a choral concert, check out an art show, attend a convocation lecture, register for Family Weekend or simply visit and enjoy time with your student, our campus and the greater community.
