Diversity and Inclusion Event Calendar 2023

The Center for Diversity and Inclusion collaborates with other administrative and academic departments to promote programs and activities that aid in strengthening and educating the Franklin College community. The office fosters inclusion, collaboration, and relationship-building in the Franklin College community, offering services that support and guide students’ academic scholarship and that encourage them to explore their identity, culture and heritage.

Feb. 1 – 28: Read Black Exhibit in Hamilton Library
Feb. 9: Voter Registration
Feb. 13: Black History 101 Traveling Museum, Branigin Room from noon – 5 p.m.
Feb. 23: Black History Scavenger Hunt
Feb. 27: Black History and Indianapolis; Curator of the Crispus Attucks Museum in Indianapolis at 6 p.m. in Branigin Room. (open to the public)
Feb. 28: Guest Author Angela Jackson Brown and the Power of the Spoken Word at 6 p.m. in the Atrium
