Greek Week is a fun week of games and philanthropy among the different Greek chapters. Greek Week is held annually during the last week of April. The week features an all-Greek cookout, philanthropy donation drive, softball tournament, motivational speaker, cornhole tournament, dodgeball and Griz Airball, field day, and Greek Awards – just to name a few! It is a great time to get out and cheer on fellow brothers and sisters for the title of Greek Week Champion!
Greek Excellence Awards is a time to celebrate the yearly accomplishments of the Greek community. Both individual and chapter awards are given out for a variety of achievements including: Scholarship Programs, G.P.A., Philanthropy/Community Service, Campus Involvement, Living the Ritual, New Member of the Year, Fraternity Man of the Year, Sorority Woman of the Year, Leave Your Legacy Award, Adviser of the Year, Alumni Volunteer of the Year, and Chapter of the Year. This ceremony is held annually on the last day of Greek Week.
Each chapter typically holds an annual philanthropy or service event. These events are fun ways our community gets involved with each other’s philanthropic initiatives. Some examples of these events include Zeta Tau Alpha’s Big Man On Campus, Lambda Chi Alpha’s Pumpkin Smash, Pi Beta Phi’s Lips for Literacy, TKE Idol, and Kappa Delta Rho’s Miss Blue and Gold.
