National Park Services Internships

Internship Resources for Diverse Students


Internship program sponsored by SEO, whose mission to place underrepresented students of color into paid summer internships. SEO internships encompass banking, private equity, corporate leadership, law, non profit and other business sectors. Students receive competitive pay, rigorous training, support through mentors, and broad access to full-time professionals and industry leadership. Through this process, over 75% of eligible interns have received full-time offers.

United States National Park Service

The Cultural Resources Diversity Internship Program provides a career exploration opportunity for diverse undergraduate and graduate students ages 18-25 in historic preservation/cultural resources work. The program places interns with National Park Service park units and administrative offices, other federal agencies, state historic preservation offices, local governments, and private organizations.

Congressional Black Caucus Foundation, Inc.

Interns will work full-time in a Congressional office. Internships are offered in summer, fall, and spring. Housing is provided and students receive a stipend for transportation and food.

United Negro College Fund

An internship, fellowship and scholarship board sponsored by the fund, the nation’s largest and most effective minority education organization. Since its founding in 1944, it has raised more than $3.6 billion to help more than 400,000 students receive college degrees.
