What is your favorite thing about Franklin College?

It has always felt like home. Faculty, staff and students all come together as family. We weather storms and celebrate successes as a team.

What do you like about working in the area of institutional advancement?

It’s an honor to work with those who choose to pay their educational experiences forward. A favorite quote of mine is, “True philanthropy is planting trees under whose shade you never expect to sit.” Today’s students are blessed by those alumni who came before them who had the foresight and desire to make the “Franklin experience” meaningful and accessible to others. Legacies of this nature are transformational, both for the student personally and for the institution as a whole.

In My Spare Time…

I love spending time with my family, which includes three adult sons. My husband, Bill, and I also enjoy sports and travel. I’m also an avid reader and I enjoy historical fiction.
