High School Direct Admit

Are you a high school senior ready to begin working towards your degree in athletic training? Our high school direct admit option could be the right path for you! High school seniors who meet the criteria below are eligible for direct admission to our Master of Science in Athletic Training program. Students who are accepted as a high school direct admit and meet the undergraduate performance criteria while enrolled are guaranteed admission to our MSAT program. Students can choose from a 3+2 or 4+2 pathway in exercise science or physiology.

Criteria

High School Requirements

  •  3.5 on a 4.0 scale cumulative high school GPA
  • Proficient in math/science classes (B- or better)
  • Optional SAT/ACT test scores
  • Submit an application to Franklin College by March 1st of your senior year
  • Must select pre-AT track on admissions application

Undergraduate Performance While Enrolled

  • Maintain a 3.3 or higher cumulative GPA in undergraduate courses
  • Must earn a C or better in all MSAT pre-requisite courses
  • Successful matriculation through undergraduate pathway (exercise science or psychology) 

Students who meet criteria and maintain successful academic performance during undergrad are eligible to receive a $2500 scholarship once they matriculate to the MSAT program.
