Dear Students,
I hope this message finds you all doing well! I’m writing with several important updates:
Returning to Campus/Retrieving Your Belongings
We’re still waiting on news from state and local government for the stay at home orders to be lifted. Until then, we cannot invite you back to campus to retrieve your belongings. I know that process is weighing on your minds, and so I want you to know a bit about what it will look like when that time finally comes:
Refunds
I know many of you are curious about refunds from the College. We will be making adjustments to room and board charges for all residential students. We are awaiting definitive guidance from the Department of Education and will be finalizing details and communicating them to you as soon as possible.
Commencement
Information about Commencement for the Class of 2020 will be shared with seniors by the middle of next week.
FC Cares Initiative
I hope each of you has heard from a Franklin College faculty or staff member who has contacted you to check in on your well-being. Please respond to these messages. It’s important for us to hear from you to know that you’re doing well—or to determine how we can help if you’re not.
As always, please reach out if you have questions or concerns. We’re thinking of you and cheering you on from afar.
Best wishes and be well,
Dean Jones
