Kea Deppe

Almost everyone can name at least one teacher who inspired them and fueled that desire to learn. My passion for education is rooted in making connections with students, helping them become life-long learners who want to make a difference in the lives of their own future students.

What Students Say

Professor Deppe is always inclusive, encouraging, and striving to build personal relationships with her students. I am so excited to complete my senior year in the Education Department with her as my professor, and I cannot wait to see the impact she will make on future education students.”  – Nicole Buckel, Class of 2021

In My Spare Time…

I love to travel.  My family and I love to go camping. We have been on two “out west” trips that took us to the Grand Canyon, Mount Rushmore, and the Badlands, and we have camped in the Pacific North, too, visiting Mount Rainier, Crater Lake, and Olympic National Park. I have visited over 20 countries on three continents and will mark off my fourth continent, Australia, in the summer of 2021. I also love to cook, bake, and be crafty when I am not traveling.
