Rachel Jackson, M.Mus.

“Music is one of the greatest gifts we have, and I want my students to experience how approachable music is at any age or level. Though students have their own individual way of learning and acquired skillset, it is achievable for anyone to master an instrument.”

Lecturer of Music, Director of Piano Studies

I began my own private studio at the age of 16. Since then it has grown to more than 30 students, some of which have went on to pursue music at a collegiate level. My students have won international awards and scholarships.

I am an active collaborative pianist working with instrumentalists, vocalists, small ensembles, and orchestras. I was awarded the collaborative piano assistantship at Butler University where I attended graduate school. I attended festivals in Vienna, Austria and Maryland as a collaborative pianist and have performed for notable musicians Boston Pops Conductor Keith Lockhart and Van Cliburn Gold Medalist Jon Nakamatsu.

As an active freelancer, I perform in venues including concert halls, private homes, conventions centers, airports, churches, art galleries, and more.
