Nearly every day is different and offers a chance to learn something new. You might be in the room to witness historic events, investigate injustice to hold those responsible accountable, or share the story of an ordinary person doing extraordinary things. Being a journalist allows you to serve others by finding and sharing the information residents need to feel included, connect with each other and participate in building their community. There are so many facets of the journalism and communications fields. You can shape your career to be fulfilling for you.
