The Franklin College Department of Art will host two senior art exhibits in April. Both exhibits will be held in the Elba L. & Gene Portteus Branigin Atrium in the Johnson Center for Fine Arts, located at the corner of Branigin Blvd. and Grizzly Drive. The exhibits are free and open to the public for viewing weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The first exhibit, “Essex & Fink,” will be on display from Monday, April 1 to Friday, April 12. Adria Essex, daughter of Mike and Leah Essex of Columbus, and Emily Fink, daughter of Daniel and Anne Fink of Dallas, Texas, will host an opening reception on Tuesday, April 2 at 6 p.m. in the atrium.
The second exhibit, “Hollensead, Moll & Parmer,” may be viewed from Monday, April 15 to Friday, April 26. The exhibit will include works by Natalie Hollensead, daughter of Amy Woodward of Ramsey and Daniel Hollensead of Afghanistan; Bethany Moll, daughter of Jerome and Brenda Moll of Batesville; and Elliot Parmer, son of Paul and Stephanie Parmer of Edinburgh. The trio will host a reception on Tuesday, April 16 at 6 p.m. in the atrium.
