Join Us for Homecoming and Alumni Weekend 2020
Events and Lectures

Franklin College’s annual Homecoming and Alumni Weekend will take place Tuesday, Oct. 6 through Sunday, Oct. 11. While the COVID-19 restrictions have necessitated a number of adjustments to the usual in-person gatherings, the college is offering several opportunities for alumni to virtually connect. Below are a few of the highlights:

Sunday, Oct. 11

  • Commencement Ceremony for the Class of 2020 and Conferring of Honorary Degrees

Franklin College will host its 2020 commencement ceremony at 10 a.m. in Stewart “Red” Faught Stadium on campus. The outdoor facility allows for appropriate physical distancing of participants as well as guests, which will be limited to four per graduate. Tickets are required to attend the ceremony and are only distributed to graduates to be used at their discretion. Should inclement weather necessitate, the ceremony will be moved indoors to Spurlock Gymnasium. Since the facility does not allow for appropriate physical distancing protocols, no guests would be invited. Regardless of the venue, the event will be live-streamed on the college website, www.FranklinCollege.edu.
