Jarrett DodsonFranklin College senior Jarrett Dodson has been selected into the highly sought after Orr Fellowship program.

Dodson, a business marketing major from Indianapolis, will begin his fellowship upon graduating from the college the end of this month and complete the program in December 2023 as part of the program’s two-year commitment.

The Orr Fellowship is a highly competitive program with the goal of helping develop future business leaders and entrepreneurs. With an average acceptance rate of six percent, Fellows are recruited from the top seniors at colleges and universities in Indiana and other states. The program includes a full-time, salaried position with a host company, professional development, executive mentorship and civic engagement opportunities.

As part of the program, Dodson has been placed with SupplyKick, a business-to-business consulting firm in Fishers, as his host company.

“I look forward to growing personally and professionally alongside my new colleagues and Fellows here in the Hoosier state,” said Dodson. “I am excited to learn and grow as I begin my career.”

Dodson said he was encouraged to apply for the program by Franklin College alumna and current Orr Fellow Erica Irish.

“The economics, business and accounting department faculty at Franklin are very proud of Jarrett and are eager to observe how he will make an impact at SupplyKick,” said Emily Jones, CPA, MBA, assistant professor of accounting.  “Jarrett is a pleasure to work with in the classroom as he is always willing to share ideas, experiences and be challenged. We know the skills he has developed in business and through the liberal arts education will transfer well into the business profession.”
