As previously shared, on Monday, Feb. 26, at 6 p.m., Franklin College will host a lecture by Clowes Visiting Artist in Residence Tiffany Black. This lecture will now take place in the Branigin Room of the Napolitan Student Center. Black will share details of the Immersive Term class she taught at the college during January. During the course, titled “Public and Community Art: Mural Creation,” she guided 23 students, step-by-step, through the stages of creating a community mural. Refreshments will be served following the lecture.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony for the mural, which was previously scheduled to follow the lecture, has now been delayed. A date for that event will be shared at a later time.
Contact the Franklin College Office of Communications for more information at (317) 738-8185.
