Campus News

Franklin College recognized and celebrated the impact of its generous donors today with the release of its 2020-2021 Franklin College Honor Roll of Donors.

In a memo to the college’s alumni and donors, Franklin College President Kerry Prather said, “Franklin College has enjoyed another remarkable year in so many ways, even while continuing to manage the persistent challenges of COVID.  An impressive constant through it all has been your loyal and generous support. The campus community is inspired by the confidence expressed through your philanthropic support.”

He went on to share a few of the college’s recent fundraising successes.

  • Total giving – outright gifts, pledges, planned gifts and gifts-in-kind – totaled more than $5 million.
  • Giving to the Franklin Fund exceeded $700,000 for the second consecutive year and only the second time in college history.
  • The college’s 9th annual GivetoGRIZ Day of Giving raised a record-breaking $279,352 with 92,000 social media impressions.

“I am immensely grateful to each and every one of our donors,” said Dana Cummings, vice president for institutional advancement. “Their generous support makes possible student financial aid and scholarships, as well as other opportunities that allow us to deliver a distinctive and transformational liberal arts education.”
