Franklin College recognized and celebrated its donors for their philanthropic support today with the release of its 2022-2023 Franklin College Honor Roll of Donors.

In a message to the college’s alumni and donors, Franklin College President Kerry N. Prather said, “Through your philanthropy, you have made possible scholarships and financial aid for students who would otherwise have been unable to afford a Franklin College education. You have also supported the enhancement of our academic programs, the maintenance of facilities, and the implementation of new technologies that make the student experience at Franklin College truly distinctive.”

He went on to share a few of the college’s recent fundraising successes.

  • Donors’ total giving to the college was $4,145,513.
  • Annual giving to the Franklin Fund totaled $766,396, the second highest in college history.
  • The college achieved new records with both of its 24-hour days of giving. In November, the #GRIZTuesday campaign raised over$178,000 for athletic programs.
  • In April, the 11th annual #GivetoGRIZ campaign raised over $308,000, making it the most successful single giving day campaign in college history.

Prather added, “Thanks to you and your generous support, Franklin College is positioned for a future of growth and greatness. For all you do for this great institution and our wonderful students, thank you.”

“I am immensely grateful to our donors,” said Dana Cummings, vice president for institutional advancement. “Their generous support helps students and is essential in our efforts to move Franklin forward. It is reflective of the confidence they have in our mission and vision.”
