Students in Journal Editing (CWR 110) and Journal Publishing (CWR 111) produce the school’s annual literary journal, Apogee, which publishes the best poetry, fiction, creative nonfiction, and art submissions from Franklin College students, as well as high school students from around the world. Apogee staff host award-winning campus-wide Open Mic events, as well as an annual journal release party.

Prizes

Apogee staff award prizes annually. The editorial staff names the best in fiction, poetry, creative non-fiction, and visual art as submitted by Franklin College students. Awards and honorariums are presented at the end-of-year release party.
