Why did you decide to become a professor?
I enjoy working with pre-professionals with specific goals in mind. Helping them achieve those goals is, to me, the most important and rewarding part of being a professor.
What is your favorite course to teach?
Teaching piano gives me the most joy, seeing my students find ways to overcome their challenges during a lesson, within the week, or over the long-term. They can then apply those same skills in all areas of their studies and in life in general.
