Franklin College Music Department students will perform two free chamber concerts in April. Both concerts, free and open to the public, will begin at 7 p.m. and will be held in the Clarence E. and Inez R. Custer Theatre in Old Main.

The Instrumental Chamber Concert, on Tuesday, April 14, will be performed by the students of Josh Torres, M.M., lecturer of music, Jonathan Rice, D.M.A., lecturer of music theory and applied woodwinds, and Randy Greenwell, band director and head of brass studio. The performances will feature a variety of wind and percussive sounds.

The Vocal Chamber Concert, on Thursday, April 16, will feature the students of Eric DeForest, D.M.A., assistant professor of music and director of vocal choral activities, and Devyn Kerr, M.M., lecturer of music. Performers will be accompanied by Chang Shen on piano.
