The Independent Colleges of Indiana (ICI) has selected Adam Dunigan, Franklin College’s Director of Institutional Analytics, to participate in the sixth cohort of the ICI Leadership Academy. The competitive, year-long program provides advanced professional development for faculty and staff at Indiana’s private, nonprofit colleges and universities.

Franklin College identified Dunigan for the program in recognition of his growing leadership and the critical role his work plays in advancing the institution’s strategic priorities.

“Adam brings a thoughtful, data-informed perspective to decision-making at Franklin College, and his work helps ensure we are aligning resources with the appropriate avenues to student success,” said Franklin College President Kerry N. Prather. “The ICI Leadership Academy will further develop his ability to think strategically across the breadth of the institution, ensuring we are utilizing increasingly sophisticated data in the most efficient ways.”

Throughout the academy, participants gain a deeper understanding of their institutions as integrated systems and examine higher education within broader state and federal policy contexts. The program equips participants to view their colleges through multiple lenses — including academic, financial and community impact — while developing the leadership competencies necessary to support both institutional effectiveness and personal professional growth.

“Now in its sixth year, the Leadership Academy has become a cornerstone of ICI’s commitment to talent development,” said Dottie L. King, president and CEO of ICI. “Alumni of the program are already making a measurable impact across campuses, and this new cohort builds on that strong foundation.”

Dunigan joined Franklin College in August 2009 and has served the institution in a variety of roles including Information Technology, Institutional Advancement, and, most recently, the Office of the President. A 2009 Franklin College graduate, he earned a bachelor’s degree in computer information systems and has remained deeply connected to the College throughout his professional career. In recognition of his outstanding work in data and analytics, he received a Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) Circle of Excellence Award in both 2022 and 2023. Dunigan resides in Indianapolis.
