Franklin College’s Student Ambassador Program is an opportunity for current students to give campus tours to prospective students and their guests. They also work at Franklin College events including Blue and Gold Day, Ben Franklin Scholars Day, group visits, Saturday visits, Art Day and all student receptions throughout the state of Indiana and surrounding areas.
“Our ambassadors play a vital role in student recruitment for Franklin College. Their knowledge, experiences, and authentic enthusiasm for the College gives our prospective students and their guests true insight into the Grizzly community,” Melissa Griffin, campus visit coordinator, said. “As an ambassador, they are often people’s first impression of our campus, making them the face of Franklin College.”
The students chosen to be ambassadors include:
Ellie Anderson, a junior from Bedford, is an exercise science major. She is a member of the cheerleading team.
Ella Beck, a sophomore from Greenwood, is an exercise science major on the pre-occupational therapy track. She is a member of the cheerleading team, a member of Pi Beta Phi sorority, president of the Jump Rope Club, and a Launch Mentor.
Kate Breeden, a senior from Evansville, is a multimedia journalism major with a minor in political science. She is a member of Franklin College Riley Dance Marathon, Omicron Delta Kappa National Leadership Honor Society, Pi Sigma Alpha National Political Science Honor Society, The Franklin News, Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and the women’s basketball team.
Wren Brown, a freshman from Mooresville, majors in biology and Spanish with a minor in art. She is a member of the Earth Club and Art Club, and on the Student Entertainment Board.
Maddie Cary, a senior from Chesterton, is a psychology and Spanish double major. She is senior captain of the women’s lacrosse team, president of H.O.P.E., a member of Psi Chi, the International Honor Society in Psychology, and a member of Pi Beta Phi sorority.
Amirah Curry, a junior from Corydon, is a public relations major with minors in business and quantitative methods. She is on the women’s soccer team and vice president of recruitment for Pi Beta Phi sorority.
Esther Etherington, a senior from Richmond, is an elementary education major with a minor in nonprofit leadership. She is a member of Student Foundation, Education Club, and serves as a Pulliam Fellow for athletic communications.
Hailey Hansen, a freshman from Clayton, is an exercise science major on the physician assistant track. She is on the cheerleading team, a member of Zeta Tau Alpha fraternity and in Jump Rope Club.
Justin Harrington, a sophomore from Indianapolis, is majoring in chemistry. He is a resident assistant, a member of the men’s basketball team and on the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.
Ailyn Hendricks, a junior from Franklin, is a biomedical science major on the pre-dental track with a minor in Spanish. She is a member of Zeta Tau Alpha fraternity, serving as the vice president of communication. She is also the vice president of Student Entertainment Board. Hendricks is on the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, a member of Earth Club, Scrubs Club and Student Foundation. She is also a member of Alpha Lambda Delta National Honor Society for First-Year Students, Chi Beta Phi National Scientific Honorary, Order of Omega, Omicron Delta Kappa the National Leadership Honor Society. Hendricks is also a member of the women’s tennis team.
Will Hirsch, a sophomore from Evansville, is a business management major with a digital marketing focus and is minoring in coaching. He is a Launch Mentor, the co-founder of Film Club, a member of Student Government Association, Student Entertainment Board, Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity and Intervarsity. He is also on the cross country and track teams.
Ruth Kaiser, a junior from Fort Wayne, is a history major with a coaching minor. She is also a Student Ambassador, a member of the softball team, a member of Zeta Tau Alpha fraternity and a resident assistant.
Jorja Long, a sophomore from Lawrenceburg, is an exercise science major on the physical therapy track with a minor in psychology. She is a member of the women’s soccer team, the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, the Exercise Science Club and Zeta Tau Alpha fraternity, where she serves on the program council. Long also is also a resident assistant.
Maggie Mathews, a senior from Columbus, is a psychology major. She is the secretary of Jump Rope Club, a member of the women’s lacrosse team and works in the Franklin College Campus Store.
McKenzie Musser, a senior from Avon, is a chemistry major with a minor in biology. She is president of the Panhellenic Council, president of Chi Beta Phi National Scientific Honorary, vice president of administration of Zeta Tau Alpha fraternity, vice president of Order of Omega and a resident assistant. She is also a member of Omicron Delta Kappa National Leadership Honor Society and Alpha Lambda Delta National Honor Society for First-Year Students.
Emma Sappenfield, a sophomore from Franklin, is an accounting major. She is on the women’s tennis team and a member of Zeta Tau Alpha sorority.
Emi Scott, a sophomore from Greenwood, is a business marketing major with a minor in graphic design. She is treasurer of Jump Rope Club and captain of the cheerleading team.
Addy Sheets, a junior from Madison, is a creative writing major with minors in psychology and English. She is a member of Zeta Tau Alpha fraternity, Student Entertainment Board, Active Minds, Education Club, H.O.P.E. and Student Foundation. Sheets is also a Student Ambassador and writes for Apogee, Franklin College’s literary magazine.
Kaylee Stewart, a senior from Greenfield, is an elementary education major. She is on the softball team, in the Education Club and is a member of Omicron Delta Kappa National Leadership Honor Society.
Taylor Turk, a sophomore from Indianapolis, is an elementary education major with a concentration on social studies. She is a member of the women’s basketball team, Education Club and Student Foundation.
Savannah Wanless, a senior from Chesterton, is a public relations major. She is also a member of Pi Beta Phi sorority and is on The Franklin’s TV news.
Katlynn Zupancic, a junior from Morgantown, is an elementary education major and psychology minor. She is Zeta Tau Alpha fraternity’s social director and president of the Education Club.
