Johnson-Dietz

Johnson – Dietz stands on the site of what was once Bryan Hall, which was completely destroyed by a fire on March 27, 1985. The construction of Johnson – Dietz was completed within 19 months and is named for Clifford Dietz, trustee and honorary alum, and David T. Johnson, son of trustee and alum Robert A. Johnson. Johnson – Dietz is a popular living space for Franklin College students due to its suite-style design. Each suite is comprised of two bedrooms, a bathroom and a common room with large bay windows. In addition to 37 suites, the facility also houses the “Bubble,” a study lounge with windows for walls. Johnson – Dietz provides housing for upperclass men and women and also has a portion of the suites designated for substance-free living.
