Franklin College has named Joseph B. Hornett as vice president for finance and chief financial officer, serving on the President’s Cabinet.
Hornett comes to Franklin from the American Red Cross in Indianapolis, where he currently serves as the chief operating officer for the Indiana region. He has previously worked for the Purdue Research Foundation, MainGate, Inc., Service Corporation International, the Archdiocese of Indianapolis and Indiana Bell Telephone Company.
Hornett earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame and a Master of Business Administration from Butler University. He is also certified as a management accountant (CMA), financial manager (CFM), treasury professional (CTP), business manager (CBM) and fraud examiner (CFE), as well as a licensed real estate broker.

Minar. “I know Joe will help position the college for unprecedented growth and sustainable progress.”
Hornett will begin his new role at Franklin on March 19.
