The Franklin College Department of Art will host an exhibit by artist John Bragg from Monday, Sept. 17 through Friday, Nov. 2 in the Elba L. & Gene Portteus Branigin Atrium on the first floor of the Johnson Center for Fine Arts. Bragg will present the lecture, “Photography, It’s Not a Medium, It’s a Large,” at 7 p.m. on Tues., Sept. 18 in Henderson Conference Room in the Johnson Center for Fine Arts. An opening reception will immediately follow.
Bragg received his Bachelor of Arts degree from University of Dayton in photography. He currently works as a commercial, magazine and corporate photographer in Indianapolis. His passion for Europe takes him on an annual trip there to re-charge, fuel his creativity and satisfy his wanderlust.
The lecture, reception and exhibit are free and open to the public. The exhibit will be available for viewing Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
