“I want students to learn the incredible influence they have on a human being’s life through movement. Movement truly is medicine but can be prescribed in a multitude of ways. Students will not only learn how to create individualized fitness and wellness programs but will also then learn leadership and communication skills in practical settings that they can carry over into the profession hey choose.”

What motivates you?
As a former collegiate athlete, I was motivated to further my coaching ability to other sports besides rowing. I focused on kinesiology for my bachelors and masters degree so I could further understand the science and practical application to performance. My career has specifically focused on high level athletic performance, working at a variety at universities with a variety of sports. As my career evolved, I began teaching so that I could help evolve the next generation of professionals.
In my spare time...
In my spare time I’m typically outside doing something active. I love going on hikes with my dog, golfing, or traveling to places I haven’t been before.
