Students following the program curriculum will be required to make certain selections in their courses at Franklin College to satisfy the prerequisite nursing requirements at the University of Indianapolis. Those selections are as follows:
Human Behavior – PSY 117 General Psychology and SOC 118 Introduction to Sociology
Scientific Thinking – ANAT 220 Applied Human Physiology, BIO 134 Principles of Biology, or CHE 121/123 General Chemistry I (determined by major).
Reasoning and Values – PHL XXX (any Philosophy course that fulfills the category) or BIO 225 Bioethics
LA 103 or alternative – MAT 224 Basic Applied Statistics or MAT 135 Calculus (determined by major).
Additional prerequisites for admission to the Accelerated BSN program are required:
- CHE 121/123 General Chemistry I and Lab
- CHE 122/124 General Chemistry II and Lab
- BIO 210 and BIO 215 Human Anatomy & Physiology I & II (Biology and Chemistry majors only)
- BIO 373 Microbiology or BIO 134 and BIO 140
