Multicultural Organizations

There are several multicultural campus organizations where you have opportunities to get involved. Below is a list of those organizations.

Franklin College Pride Alliance (FCPA)

          President: Amber Ruble
          Adviser: Ryan Rush

Franklin College Pride Alliance is an organization that seeks to promote a more accepting environment for the LGBTQ+ community along with striving to educate the campus community on LGBTQ+ issues and information. Their signature events are The GAYme of Life and the Drag Show. They meet Tuesdays at 7:00 in the CDI.

Black Student Union (BSU)

          President: Alexis Cheatham
          Adviser: Hannah Adams-Ingram

BSU is an organization that acts as an extended support system to its members while educating the campus on Black culture, beliefs, and lifestyles. Their signature events are Chat, Chew & Chill and the Fashion Show. They meet at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesdays in the Center for Diversity & Inclusion.

Best Buddies

          President: Thomas Beckstein
          Adviser: Steven Scheer

Best Buddies is an organization that pairs college students with individuals who have IDD. IDD is an intellectual or developmental disability. Our goal is to provide one to one friendships with those with IDD  most importantly, we want to spread inclusion on campus. It is imperative everybody is included. Some of our signature events are: the talent show, and spread the word to end the word. Meetings are held at 3-5, usually one Sunday a month, in the Student Center games area.
