Franklin College welcomes a conversation with Urbana University students seeking to pursue or complete your bachelor’s degree. We understand the importance of finding a school where you will fit in quickly and be able to complete your undergraduate education on time.

Our residential campus is located in a thriving small town similar to the size of Urbana (OH). Franklin was voted recently “home of Indiana’s Best Main Street” by Visit Indiana. Another draw is that Franklin is 20 miles directly south of Indianapolis (IN), rated the “Third Best City for Jobs in the United States” by Glassdoor.com.

Our approximately 1,000 students enjoy over 50 clubs and organizations, 21 varsity sports, Greek life and many other involvement opportunities.

How to Apply

We invite you to submit your FREE (online) transfer application or Common Application to Franklin College!

Instant Admission: Urbana University students who have achieved a cumulative 2.5 GPA or higher and completed a minimum of 12 credit hours will be immediately admitted and eligible to attend Franklin College in Fall 2020. 

Transfer Credit Evaluations: Please forward to admissions@franklincollege.edu any course descriptions that the Urbana University Registrar’s Office provided. The Franklin College Registrar might eventually request copies of your Urbana University course syllabi for credit evaluation as well (grades C- or better). 

Competitive Financial Aid

Submit your Urbana financial aid offer, and Franklin College will quickly do a comprehensive review to provide you with a competitive institutional offer within five business days. 

Add Franklin College School Code 001798 to your 2020-21 FAFSA, and Franklin College will determine what need-based aid you might also be eligible for should you become admitted to Franklin.
