If you’re interested in visiting campus during the week, we offer individualized visits so you can see what is important to you. While you’re on campus you will meet with an admission counselor to discuss the application and financial aid process and take an hour-long tour to check out campus. If there are certain buildings you’d like to see or you want more information about student life, let your tour guide know! Students can also request to meet with a professor from their intended area of study, a staff member from various departments, and/or a coach. We will do our best to set up these individual appointments for you, but they depend on the availability of each Franklin College staff member.
The Franklin College Office of Admissions is open nearly every Saturday during the academic year. These Saturday visits include an admissions and financial aid presentation by an admission counselor followed by an hour-long tour of campus. This visit is best for sophomores or juniors who are just beginning their college search.
If you’re a junior or senior who would like the chance to shadow a current Franklin College student for a day or a senior who would like to extend your time on campus to an overnight visit, you have the opportunity to do so! The shadow days and overnight visits give prospective students the chance to experience life as an Franklin student. You will attend your host’s classes, eat in the cafeteria, sleep in the residence hall, and attend anything else your host has scheduled for the day! Overnight visits work best when scheduled Monday – Thursday during the academic year. We only ask that you allow us ten days to set up your overnight.
Please note: While cannot host overnight stays at this moment due to COVID-19, we hope to resume these soon.
If you would like to bring a group to campus, please note the following:
