Calling All High School Artists
The Franklin College Department of Art will host its annual High School Art Competition & Exhibition. We invite high school students (grades 9-12) to submit artwork for a juried exhibition in the following categories: 3D/Ceramics, Drawing, Graphic Arts, Painting, and Photography.
Submitted artwork will be exhibited in the Johnson Center for Fine Arts on the Franklin College campus from November 7-14, 2026. Cash prizes will be awarded for each category at the closing reception and award ceremony.
Key Dates
- October 26 – Nov. 4, 2026: Deliver artwork (1 entry per student)
- Nov. 7-14, 2026: High School Art Exhibition
- Artwork juried by Franklin College art faculty
- November 14, 2026:
- Closing Reception & Awards Ceremony:
8:30–9:30 am: Registration, meet art faculty and breakfast.
9:30–10:30 am: Award ceremony (cash awards).
10:30-11:30 am: Art faculty workshops in Ceramics, Graphic Design, Painting & Photography
