Jennifer Austin, Ph.D., ATC

“In the classroom I create a fair, but challenging environment that encourages students to go beyond memorizing facts to implementing current techniques in a practical setting. Students are encouraged to explore current research, embrace evidence-based practice, and challenge dated techniques, as athletic training is an evolving profession that requires continued professional development and life-long learning.”

In My Spare Time…

In my spare time I most enjoy hanging out with my family. Both my son and daughter are hockey players and my daughter rides horses, so we spend a lot of time in “barns.” When we are home I prefer to be outside working in the gardens or inside working on our house.
