Expertise

Clinical research topics surrounding the assessment and correction of movement dysfunction at the scapulothoracic joint marked the focus of my early research. Through doctoral studies and scholarship, however, educational research topics have slowly reoriented my attention. While I remain interested in pathologies of the upper limb, I also aim to investigate and apply student development theory and constructive-developmental pedagogy to prepare future athletic trainers for life and work.
