Service Learning and Civic Engagement

Service learning and civic engagement are key elements of your education at Franklin College. Many Franklin College faculty teach service learning courses while 10+ academic departments provide service learning course offerings on a regular basis.

Linking discipline-specific knowledge with service learning and civic engagement helps you gain a better understanding of the academic content as well as appreciate the value of service to the community.

From participating in Model UN to spending a week in a homeless shelter to building a house with Habitat for Humanity, participation in service learning and civic engagement activities at Franklin College will improve your education, your community, and your world.
