 Virtual 5K, Monday, Oct. 6 – Sunday, Oct. 12

Whether you live near or far, you can join Grizzlies and friends in spirit as you complete a 5K run or walk on your own… or, gather local alumni to participate with you. Post your photo during the Homecoming & Alumni week on the Franklin College Alumni Association Facebook page for a chance to win free Griz swag! The event is free.

All-Reunion Online Party, Tuesday, Oct. 7 at 6 p.m.

Join fellow alumni via Zoom for an informal gathering! Free to attend. Registration is required.

Athletic Hall of Fame Banquet, Thursday, Oct. 9 at 7 p.m.

Join us in the celebration of a long tradition of athletic excellence as we honor three exceptional athletes as they are inducted into the Athletic Hall of Fame. Alumni Anna (Murdock) Larson ’15 (cross country/track), Ian Sanders ’11 (baseball) and Sarah (Condra) Langdon ’12 DDS (basketball) will be inducted into the Athletic Hall of Fame as 2025 inductees. The banquet will be held in the Branigin Room of the Napolitan Student Center. Cost is $30 per person. Space is limited. Registration is required.

Roy E. Tillotson Alumni Golf Tournament, Friday, Oct. 10 at 11 a.m.

The Roy E. Tillotson Alumni Golf Tournament will be held at Hillview Country Club in Franklin. Registration begins at 11 a.m. with a shotgun start at noon. The registration fee of $100 per player includes green fees, cart, snacks, drinks, appetizers and prizes. Registration is required.

Hail to Franklin Alumni Awards Presentation and Reception, Friday, Oct. 10 at 6 p.m.
Join President Kerry N. Prather as he presents the 2025 Alumni Awards at Garment Factory Events in Franklin. Since 1954, the Alumni Council of Franklin College has had an established awards program designed to honor alumni and friends of the college, recognizing outstanding professional/community achievement as well as service to the college. The honorees include Thurman Alvey III ’96 D.O., Distinguished Alumni Award; Baylee (Pinnick) Williams ’11, Young Alumni Award; and Suzanne (Nekvasil) Robinson ’87, Hail to Franklin Award. Registration is required. Free to attend.

 All Alumni/Class Reunion Gathering, Friday, Oct. 10 from 7-10 p.m.

Join alumni of all ages at Garment Factory Events in Franklin for a fun yet informal gathering. Heavy appetizers will be provided by the Franklin College Alumni Council. A cash bar will also be available. Registration requested. Free to attend.

Traditional Burning of the Privy, Friday, Oct. 10 at 8:45 p.m.
Join faculty, staff, students and fellow alumni for the annual privy burning at the corner of Monroe and Forsythe streets and discover the history behind this traditional Homecoming event.

1975 GRIZ Gold Reunion, Saturday, Oct. 11 from 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Honoring the 50th reunion class of 1975, this reunion event is open to all alumni graduating in or prior to 1975. The reunion will be held in the Elba L. & Gene Portteus Branigin Atrium of the Johnson Center for Fine Arts. Cost is $25 per person and registration is required. Members of the class of 1975 will receive two complimentary tickets when registering.

All Franklin College alumni are encouraged to gather outside of the Faught Stadium main gate to participate in the group photo.

Grizzly Football vs. Rose-Hulman, Saturday, Oct. 11 at 1:30 p.m.
The Homecoming football game will be played at Stewart “Red” Faught Stadium where the Grizzlies will take on the Fightin’ Engineers. Crowning of the Homecoming royalty will be held at halftime. General admission to the game through Eventlink is $10 ($8 for ages 65 and older). Admission is free for anyone age 12 or younger and individuals with a valid FC ID. Multicultural Celebration, Sunday, Oct. 12 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
