Franklin College’s Omicron Delta Kappa Honor Society inducted 26 new members into its Circle on Monday, March 10. Omicron Delta Kappa is a national organization that honors collegiate leadership and renowned character. On a national scale, Omicron Delta Kappa provides members with access to scholarships, professional development and networking opportunities.
Franklin College’s Circle recognizes students for their leadership in academics and research, athletics, community and campus service, communications and creative and performing arts. The students selected are statistically in the top 35% of their classes and entrenched leaders of the campus community. Over the course of 25 years, Franklins’ Omicron Delta Kappa Circle has initiated more than 500 students into this exclusive honor society.
“The most inspiring things to me about ODK are the connection with so many amazing FC alumni and the opportunity to shine a light on these student leaders. Nearly all of our members are involved in other things – academics, athletics, fellowships, Greek life – but ODK is a place where students can be recognized for all their achievements,” said Jeremy VanAndel, director of professional development and adviser of Franklin’s Circle.
