The Franklin College Art Department will host the Franklin College High School Art Competition and Exhibition in November. The works will be displayed in the Elba L. and Gene Portteus Branigin Atrium of the Johnson Center for Fine Arts from Friday, Nov. 1 through Saturday, Nov. 9. Submissions were accepted in five categories: 3D/ceramics, graphic arts, drawing, painting and photography. The public is invited to attend the closing reception and awards ceremony from 9:30-10:30 a.m. on Nov. 9. Admission is free.

The closing reception and awards ceremony will include demonstrations in ceramics, graphic design, photography and painting. Each year cash awards are awarded in each category. A new cash prize will be awarded for the first time this year thanks to the Indiana Artist Club.
