The Franklin College award-winning publication, The Franklin, recently announced its editorial staff for the 2024-2025 academic year.
Students on the editorial staff include:
Arianna Hunt, a junior from Morgantown, will serve as executive editor. Hunt is a multimedia journalism, Spanish and software engineering major. She is a member of InterVarsity Christian Fellowship.
Anna Cecil, a sophomore from Indianapolis, will serve as the managing editor. Cecil is a multimedia journalism major. She is a member of the women’s cross-country team.
Jonah Decker, a junior from Indianapolis, will serve as the sports editor. Decker is a sports communications major. He is a member of the men’s cross-country team, the Ritual Chair for Lambda Chi Alpha and editor of the Apogee.
Ashlyn Meyers, a senior from Franklin, will serve as the social media editor. Meyers is a multimedia journalism major and has spent the last four months as a storytelling intern at Indiana Humanities
Hannah Johnson, a senior from Indianapolis, will serve as the photo editor. Johnson is a studio art and photography major. She is a member of the women’s lacrosse team, Zeta Tau Alpha, Riley Dance Marathon and Women’s Chorus. She is a Pulliam Fellow for the 2024-2025 academic year and has interned at the Statehouse File.
Elijah Roberson, a senior from Martinsville, will serve as a co-news editor. Roberson is a public relations major and works at the sports radio station, 93.5/107.5 The Fan.
Erin Bruce, a junior from Troy, Ohio, will serve as a co-news editor. Bruce is a multimedia journalism and sport communications major. She is a member of Zeta Tau Alpha and Passion for Paws.
The Franklin, founded in 1904, is an independent and student-led publication based in Franklin College’s Pulliam School of Journalism. The publication is part of the Associated Collegiate Press Hall of Fame and recognized by both the Indiana Collegiate Press Association as well as the Society of Professional Journalists. The Franklin publishes via their monthly magazine and their website.
