How much extended time on tests is reasonable?

Extended time on exams is a customary accommodation for students who work more slowly due to their disabilities. For most students, time and a half or double time is more than adequate. Students with more severe or multiple disabilities may require additional time. Unlimited time on tests is NOT considered reasonable.
