Mission

Zeta Tau Alpha has proudly been a part of Franklin College since 1927. The social activities of ZTA's members range from sisterhood events and mixers to an annual semi-formal in the fall and White Violet Formal in the spring. ZTA is always in pursuit of academic excellence with an in-depth scholastic program. ZTA offers women personal development and social fulfillment.

Events/Accomplishments

ZTA hosts their annual Big Man on Campus (BMOC) event every fall to raise money for their philanthropy, Breast Cancer Education and Awareness. Other events held by the ZTA's include: The Bunny Hop/Strawberry Smash, Point the Greeks Pink, and annual participation in the Indianapolis Race for the Cure. Aside from organizing these events, the ZTA's try to attend as many events on campus as possible to show support for the other Greek and student organizations. In April of 2008, ZTA was awarded the campus Spotlight award for their new event “Paint the Greeks Pink,” a competition between fraternities and sororities to see which could decorate their house or suite in the most creative and “pink” way the week of Race for the Cure in Indianapolis. ZTA is also the honored recipient of the 2008 Greek Chapter of the Year award on Franklin College’s campus. ZTA also received the Service award at our annual Indiana Zeta Day awards program in recognition of being the ZTA chapter in Indiana with the best community service program.
