Delta Delta Delta is proud to be a part of the Franklin College campus. Sisterhood in DDD means belonging to a diverse group of committed women who are highly involved on campus and continually strive for academic excellence. DDD is more than a group of friends. It’s an everlasting sisterhood that provides comfort and inspiration spanning far beyond a woman’s collegiate career.
The purpose of Delta Delta Delta is to establish a perpetual bond of friendship among its members, to develop a stronger and more womanly character, to broaden the moral and intellectual life, and to assist its members in every possible way.
Tri Delta’s national philanthropy is St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Each year, our chapter hosts a variety of philanthropy events and a Sincerely Yours letter writing campaign. Some of our philanthropy events include Delta Duck Hunt, Delta House of Pancakes (DHOP), Kick-Out Cancer kickball tournament, and our Toss-Out Cancer ultimate frisbee tournament. DDD members not only participate in these philanthropy events, but also participate in other activities. We host a variety of activities from sisterhood events and mixers to our annual Founder’s Day celebration and formal. These activities help us build a strong bond among our members.
In 2017, Delta Delta Delta won many awards at the annual Greek Awards Ceremony. Tri Delta won the Highest GPA Award for Spring 2016 and the Most Philanthropy Dollars Raised Award for our Sincerely Yours Campaign. Some of our members won the Living the Ritual Award and Leave Your Legacy Award.
A 2.8 GPA is required for initiation into Delta Delta Delta. Members in DDD are expected to meet academic and participation requirements as set by the national headquarters and the chapter.
