Suggestions for Students with Disabilities

  • Remain in contact with professors throughout the course and make sure they know about your specific needs.
     
  • Attend all classes and be attentive.
     
  • Take thorough notes and use a tape recorder if needed.
     
  • Use resources in the ARC (Academic Mentoring, Math Study Center, The Write Place or one-on-one tutoring,).
     
  • Ask professors for specific study tips for exams and quizzes, as every professor's method is different.
