Frank McHale Charitable Trust Endowed Scholarship
SCHOLARSHIP BACKGROUND
Frank McHale grew up in Logansport, IN, and graduated from the University of Michigan Law School in 1916. After serving in World War I, he returned to his hometown to practice law. McHale continued to practice law in Logansport until his retirement in 1973. McHale established the McHale Charitable Trust. In 1987, the trust donated $140,000 to the Associated Colleges of Indiana. The money was used to establish scholarships at seven independent colleges in the state, including Franklin College.
SCHOLARSHIP REQUIREMENTS
The Frank McHale Charitable Trust Endowed Scholarship is awarded to students from Logansport and Cass County in Indiana. The financial aid office selects the recipients.
