Clifford & Paula Dietz Excellence Endowment Scholarship

SCHOLARSHIP BACKGROUND

No two people better epitomize the phrase "a friend of Franklin College" than Drs. Clifford and Paula Dietz. Their generosity to the College can be seen in the many buildings, programs and scholarships that they have made possible. The Professional Development Program and its beautiful home, the Dietz Center for Professional Development; the Dietz Residence Hall; the Dietz Award for Faculty Excellence and the Dietz Travel Endowment are just a small sample of the many programs, awards and facilities that exist because of the Dietzes' generosity. With the Clifford and Paula Dietz Excellence Endowment Scholarship, the couple has made sure that the best and brightest students have the opportunity to enjoy the many benefits of a Franklin College education.

SCHOLARSHIP REQUIREMENTS

The intent of the Clifford and Paula Dietz Excellence Endowment Scholarship is to provide supplemental scholarships to outstanding students who might otherwise not be able to attend Franklin College. To qualify, students must have ranked in the top 5% of their high school class and scored an SAT composite score of 1200 or higher (ACT composite of 28 or higher). Students must also demonstrate financial need. Recipients are determined by the financial aid office.
