AISIN/Toyota Endowed Scholarship

SCHOLARSHIP BACKGROUND

To celebrate the grand opening of the Franklin Logistics Center, Aisin Holdings of America, Inc., and Toyota Motor North America established an endowed scholarship to benefit Franklin College students interested in studying business. Franklin Logistics Center is a state-of-the-art distribution and logistics center that provides inventory control and distribution for North American and overseas components to Aisin's production facilities in North America. When FLC began its operations in January 2005, Aisin became a member of the Franklin, Indiana, community. To provide a tangible demonstration of the investment the company has made in its new community, this scholarship was established.

SCHOLARSHIP REQUIREMENTS

The scholarship will provide $1,000 scholarship(s) with first preference to assist entering freshmen from Indiana pursuing a degree in business. The scholarship may be renewed annually as long as the recipient(s) maintain a 2.5 grade point average.
