Scholarship Details
William Kenneth and Nellie Marie Maple Endowed Scholarship
SCHOLARSHIP BACKGROUND
The William Kenneth and Nellie Marie Maple Endowed Scholarship was established by June (Maple) Schubert, a 1973 graduate of Franklin College, and her husband Karl D. Schubert. June and Karl established this scholarship in honor of her parents and their appreciation for higher education. Her parents were not able to attend college themselves but worked hard to ensure the Maple children had the opportunity to attend, if desired. June is grateful for the scholarship assistance she received during her collegiate experience and wanted to return the legacy to future Franklin College students in honor of the parents she loved and admired.
