Buna & Ercel Kohlerman Endowed Scholarship Fund

SCHOLARSHIP BACKGROUND

Ercel Kohlerman taught business and coached basketball at Milan High School in Indiana. Though he attended Danville College, Purdue and Butler universities, he established friendships with members of Franklin College's past basketball teams and members of its coaching staff. He was associated with the American Baptist Men's Brotherhood. Kohlerman and his wife, Ruth, established this scholarship in honor of Mr. Kohlerman and his first wife, Buna. The award was established with a gift of the couple's farmland and home in Milan, IN.

SCHOLARSHIP REQUIREMENTS

First priority for the Ercel and Buna Kohlerman Endowed Scholarship will be given to graduates of Milan High School and pre-theological students. The financial aid office selects the recipients.
