Edna B. Lacy Endowed Chair In Business and Entrepreneurship
The Edna B. Lacy Endowed Chair in Business and Entrepreneurship commemorates the lifetime achievements in business management, community service and leadership development of Edna B. Lacy, Chairman of the Board of Lacy Diversified Industries and a member of the Franklin College Board of Trustees from 1965 to 1983 and 1986 to 1990. By fostering interaction of students with men and women who have demonstrated substantial business management, entrepreneurial and community leadership success, dinners and seminars will serve as a critical supplement to the classroom curriculum. The Edna B. Lacy Endowed Chair in Business and Entrepreneurship provides a unique opportunity to expand the education of Business, Economics and Accounting students at Franklin College while fulfilling Mrs. Lacy's commitment to leadership development and to young people.
